                          The S1 World Championships

Somchai Chimlum Thai vs Arslan Magomedov Russia

              11

"The S1 World Championships is an eight man tournament, full Muay Thai rules, 3x3 rounds. This event was in honor to celebrate the birthday of the Queen of Thailand. Special thanks to Team OneSongchai for all their hard work. Hard work is an understatement when you look at the bigger picture: OneSongchai had a big event on August 11th, S1 World Championships on the 12th."

"Rnd 1
A nice round for Arslan, starting the fight with a leg grab, dump. Arslan executed more techniques: a hard lunging knee to the body, and a dropping elbow. Somchai took the round slowly, and worked off his punches, and combo’d with some kicks to the body, that Arslan checked quite well.

Rnd 2
The battle has begun. A hard round for both. Arslan cuts Somchai early in the round with an elbow, Somchai gets rally goin, puts Arslan in the corner, and they go trading toe to toe! Trading hard punches, elbows, and some knees; some connect and some don’t, and it looks a brawl! Somchai may have edged by this round, so Arslan will have to come with something big in the 3rd, to beat Somchai.

Rnd 3
Arslan continues his assault on Somchai, working in kicks off his punches, and controlling the clinch. With techniques in and out of the clinch, Arslan wins a point decision, but not an easy task. Possibly the fight of the night. Will fatigue take over from this three round WARBATTLE?"
